READING, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's swimming team recorded nine first-place finishes in a 162-98 Middle Atlantic Conference dual meet win at Albright College Saturday. The Knights improved to 4-0 this season with the victory, while the Lions record dropped to 2-2 with the loss.
RELAYS: Arcadia had two of the three scoring relay teams in the 200 medley relay to start the meet. The team of freshman

Megan Hupp, Drago and Carpenter registered the top time of 3:44.70, which was just 0.51 seconds off the school record.
BACKSTROKE: Ardamoy and Georges were the Knights top finishers in the 100 and 200; Ardamoy was runner-up in the 100 in 1:02.83 and in the 200 with a time of 2:23.68, while Georgias placed third in the 100 in 1:05.00 and in the 200 with a time of 2:23.75. Sophomore
Rylee Cella was fourth in the 200 in 2:27.46, while freshman
Evvie Thompson was fourth in the 100 in 1:11.20.
BREASTSTROKE: Carpenter and Byers took the top-two spots in the 100 with respective times of 1:08.22 and 1:12.68, while Gabby Hartney placed fifth in the 100 in 1:19.39. Carpenter also won the 200 in 2:31.56, followed by Babarsky (2:38.20) in second and freshman
Rachel Samson (2:39.57) in fourth.
BUTTERFLY: Senior
Megan Obarowski took home the title in the 200 with a time of 2:18.30 and later placed third in the 100 in 1:03.40. Drago was Arcadia's top-performer in the 100 with a second-place time of 1:03.88. Junior
Danielle Fundakowski scored for the Knights in both races, placing fourth in the 200 (2:26.23) and fifth in the 100 (1:06.94).
DISTANCE: Hupp and sophomore
Alyssa D'Esposito registered a one-two finish in the 1,000 with respective times of 10:58.37 and 11:29.03 in the first individual event of the day before helping the Knights take each of the top-three spots in the 500. Hupp won with a time of 5:19.57, while freshman
Bekah Brown (5:39.90) and D'Esposito (5:39.95) were separated by just five-hundredths of a second in as they took second and third-place.
SPRINTS: Samson led a one-two-three finish in the 200 with a winning time of 2:02.20, while Babarsky (2:03.77) and Sweeney (2:05.53) touched in second and third. Hupp was the winner in the 100 after finishing the race in 55.28, while Byers took fourth in 57.14. Drago led the way in the 50 with a second-place time of 25.88, followed by senior
