GLENSIDE, Pa. - The No. 15 Arcadia University women's soccer team opens play in the 2019 MAC Commonwealth Tournament Thursday night, hosting third-seeded Stevenson in a rematch of the regular season finale this past weekend with the winner advancing to the conference title game Saturday. The Knights are in search of their fifth-straight appearance in the MAC Commonwealth title game and the program's second MAC Commonwealth championship.

2019 Record: 14-2-3, 5-1-2 MAC Commonwealth
-The Knights enter the 2019 MAC Commonwealth Tournament ranked 15th in the latest United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III poll and in search of the program's fourth-straight NCAA Tournament appearance. A win Thursday would send the Knights to their fifth-straight MAC Commonwealth title game, with their last championship coming in 2017 at Messiah.
-The Arcadia back line has allowed only eight goals all season and posted a 0.402 goals against average in the regular season - good for 12th nationally. In eight MAC Commonwealth contests, the Knights held their opponents to five goals in 762:19 minutes of play - good for a 0.59 GAA - which resulted in four shutouts.

Brianna Williams has been solid in net for the Knights all season and enters the postseason with a .398 GAA and .897 save percentage to go along with a conference-best nine shutouts. MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Year

Bridget Sway have also played a large part in Williams' success as the anchors of the Knight defense.
-Arcadia owns a 7-1-1 record at Jean Lenox West Field in 2019 while outscoring its opponents 19-5 in those nine contests.

2019 Record: 8-8-2, 5-2-1 MAC Commonwealth
-Despite one win in their first eight games to begin the season, the Mustangs were able to get back on track by the time MAC Commonwealth play came around, winning five of its first six conference matches before a loss to top-seeded Messiah and a draw with the Knights in the regular season finale earned them the third seed.
-The Mustangs enter the MAC Commonwealth Tournament seemingly hitting their stride at the right time with a 6-2 record in the last month - with all six victories coming as shutouts.
-Stevenson played the Knights to a 1-1 draw on Nov. 2 as they prepare to make the return trip to Jean Lenox West Field Thursday night.
