GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia Esports Rocket League team opened its 2020-21 campaign in the Collegiate Rocket League (CRL) Eastern Qualifier over the weekend, playing to a 2-2 record in its four matches resulting in a third-round exit.

ARCADIA 3, ETS 0 (FF)

WINNER'S BRACKET ROUND 2
ARCADIA 0, SETON HALL 2

Game 1: (Seton Hall, 7-1) The Knights struggled to get going against a talented Seton Hall squad. Late in the game, Will Costa put one past the defense with the help of Ben Baron to get Arcadia on the scoreboard.

Game 2: (Seton Hall, 4-1) The Knights faced a similar fate in game two, as Baron had the Knights' lone goal.

LOSER'S BRACKET ROUND 2
ARCADIA 2, BROCK 1

Game 1: (Brock, 2-1) The Knights lost a close one to open the match. With nine seconds remaining, Costa scored the goal to force overtime. Brock responded by netting the game-winner in overtime.

Game 2: (Arcadia, 2-1) Jon Zhang led the Knights to victory with two goals in another close game.

Game 3: (Arcadia, 3-1) The Knights found their groove in game three as Baron put them up early, followed by a Costa score. Brock responded with a goal to close the gap, but Arcadia stayed resilient. Baron later delivered a late dagger to send Brock home.

LOSER'S BRACKET ROUND 3
ARCADIA 1, JACKSON 2

Game 1: (Arcadia, 6-3) Arcadia came out of the gates firing in game one with Costa starting the scoring on the opening kickoff. Zhang finished with two goals and Baron added three of his own.

Game 2: (Jackson, 7-1) The Jets responded by blanking the Knights for a majority of the game to take the second, 7-1.

Game 3: (Jackson, 2-1) Arcadia drops a tough one to end the tournament.
