GLENSIDE, Pa. - The second-seeded Arcadia University men's lacrosse program opens the 2021 MAC Freedom Men's Lacrosse Tournament at home against seventh-seeded King's Saturday from Jean Lenox West Field and Delran Pavillion at noon. This season marks the second conference tournament appearance in program history for the Knights and their highest seeding entering the tournament.

ABOUT THE KNIGHTS
-Arcadia enters the conference tournament having won three of its last four MAC Freedom matchups, including a 26-8 victory on the road at King's on April 7. The Knights played to a 4-2 record at Jean Lenox West Field during the 2021 season.
-The Knights come into play Saturday third in the conference in goals per game (13.38) and total goals (174) while boasting the fourth-best goals against average (13.32). Clo Muscara ranks seventh in goals per game (2.70) while Brian Albertsen comes in at ninth (2.67) in the same category. Timmy Fyock's .579 save percentage ranks second in the league among goalies that have played at least ten games.

First-year Maxwell Henry has made an immediate  impact  on the Knights' defensive unit, ranking fifth in caused turnovers (21) and eighth in caused turnovers per game (1.62).
-Arcadia leads the all-time series with King's, 3-1, and has won each of the last three meetings by out-scoring the Monarchs 49-17.
ABOUT KING'S
-King's lone win of the 2021 season came at home against FDU-Florham on March 27 and the  Monarchs are 0-3 in away games this season. They enter the conference tournament having lost four-straight to end the regular season.
-The Monarchs average 6.50 goals per game offensively, led by Gabe Vansuch's 14 on the season. Michael O'Brien (11) and Brendan Gambino (10) have also reached double figures in goals this year.
