No. 3 Men's Lacrosse Set to Open Postseason Play at Second-Seeded DeSales

GLENSIDE, Pa. – The third-seeded Arcadia University men's lacrosse team is set to begin postseason play as it travels to No. 2 DeSales on Wednesday night in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Semifinals.

PREVIOUS MATCHUP
 
This is the second consecutive season that these two teams will meet in the MAC Freedom Semifinals. The Knights came out victorious, downing the Bulldogs, 20-13.
 
Arcadia most recently traveled to DeSales in its regular season-finale, and fell to the Bulldogs, 20-15.
 
ABOUT THE KNIGHTS
 
Arcadia finished the regular season with a 6-2 record in MAC Freedom play, including a 7-9 record overall.
 
Brian Albertsen is the Knights' top scorer with 40 goals. He has also added 21 assists for a team-high 61 points. Justin Chinici has added 39 goals and Billy Burton has scored 35. Kyle McLaughlin is the Knights' second-highest point getter with 54 points on 31 goals and 23 assists.
 
Arcadia holds the best percentage on faceoffs in the conference, winning over 58 percent of its draws. Brett Sciascia has won just over 60 percent of his faceoff opportunities, which is the second-highest in the MAC Freedom and A.J. Dominguez has been successful on 58 percent of his draws, which is the fourth-highest in the conference.
 
Nathaniel Hudgins has won seven games in goal for the Knights and has made 158 total saves, including a career-high 23 against Stockton.
