FLEETWOOD, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's golf team wrapped up play at the Golden Oaks Shootout on Monday at Golden Oaks Golf Club in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania. The course played as a par 72, measuring 5,502 yards. Although the Knights did not record a team score in round two, all three competitors improved upon their day-one performances. Leading the way once again was Taylor Gardner, who carded an 82 (+10) for the round.

Gardner not only improved her score by five strokes but also moved up one spot to finish 14th overall. She shot a 43 (+7) on the front nine, recording two pars and one birdie, before posting a 39 (+3) on the back nine with six pars and three bogeys.

Mairead O'Connell finished second for Arcadia, improving by two strokes to shoot a 110 (+38). O'Connell carded a 56 (+20) on the front nine and followed with a 54 (+18) on the back, highlighted by a par on the 12th hole. She finished the tournament tied for 41st place.

Gianni Straughter also showed improvement, moving up five spots to finish 45th overall after lowering her score by six strokes to record a 125 (+53). She shot a 61 on the front nine and a 64 on the back to complete her round.

Marymount University led the tournament from start to finish, claiming the team title with a total score of 612. The Saints cruised to victory, finishing 62 strokes ahead of second-place Stevenson. Individually, Marymount's Eunice Chang earned medalist honors after posting an even-par 72 in round two to finish at +3 overall, three strokes ahead of her teammate.
