DELAWARE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's golf team wrapped up its regular season on Wednesday at the Conquer the Island Tournament, held at Shawnee Golf and Country Club. The Knights finished fifth in the eight-team field with a team score of 385 (+97). Shawnee played as a par 72 course at 5,879 yards.
Katherine Gaffney led Arcadia with a fifth-place finish after carding an 82 (+10). She posted a 41 (+5) on the front nine, highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 sixth hole, along with three pars. On the back, Gaffney matched her front-nine score with another 41 (+5), recording five pars, including a stretch of three consecutive pars on holes 11 through 13.
Taylor Gardner finished second for the Knights and tied for 11th overall with an 88 (+16). Gardner shot a 46 (+10) on the front, highlighted by a birdie on the par-3 eighth hole, before improving by four strokes on the back with a 42 (+6), where she recorded four pars.
Kaitlynn Clark placed third for Arcadia with a 102 (+30), finishing tied for 26th. Clark opened with a 53 (+17) on the front and improved by four strokes on the back with a 49 (+13). She recorded her lone birdie of the day on the par-3 18th hole.
Cristy Gori rounded out the team scoring with a 113 (+41), tying for 33rd place. After a 59 (+23) on the front, Gori improved by five strokes on the back with a 54 (+18), highlighted by a par on the par-5 15th hole.
Laini Scott carded a 130 (+58), but her score did not factor into the team total. She shot a 67 (+31) on the front and a 63 (+27) on the back to finish 37th.
Susquehanna captured the team title with a 329 (+41), edging Drew by three strokes. Roxy Riles earned medalist honors with a 75 (+3).

The Knights will open postseason play at the MAC Championship on Saturday, May 2, at Berkleigh Golf Club in Kutztown.
