WILLINGBORO, N.J. – The Arcadia University women's golf team hosted its spring invitational at Rancocas Golf Club on Sunday, finishing third in a three-team field with a team score of 423 (+139). Rancocas played as a par 71, 5,074-yard course, and challenging weather conditions—including steady rain and gusting winds—impacted scoring throughout the day.
Taylor Gardner led the Knights with a fifth-place finish after carding a 100 (+29). Gardner posted a 49 (+14) on the front nine, highlighted by a birdie on the par-3 second hole. She followed with a 51 (+15) on the back, recording three pars, including back-to-back efforts on holes 16 and 17.
Katherine Gaffney finished just behind Gardner in sixth place with a 101 (+30). She opened with a 51 (+16), recording a par on the first hole, and closed with a 50 (+14) on the back, adding another par on the 13th.
Kylie Beers placed eighth overall with a 108 (+37). Beers shot a 53 (+18) on the front, highlighted by a par on the second hole, and followed with a 55 (+19) on the back, where she recorded a par on the 14th.
Cristy Gori rounded out the team scoring with a 114 (+43), finishing in 11th place. After a 58 (+23) on the front, Gori improved by two strokes on the back nine with a 56 (+20), including a par on the par-3 16th.
Kaitlynn Clark competed as well, posting a 119 (+48), but her score did not factor into the team total. She shot 59 (+24) on both the front and back nines to finish tied for 13th.
Moravian captured the team title with a 399 (+115), while Stockton edged Arcadia for second place by two strokes with a 421 (+137). Eleanor Byrne of Stockton earned medalist honors with a 90 (+19).
