SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's golf team opened its fall 2025 schedule at Susquehanna University's one-round invitational, played at Susquehanna Valley Country Club. The par-70, 5,524-yard course challenged the field as the Knights placed 14th with a team score of 450 (+170). Taylor Gardner paced Arcadia with a tie for 33rd place after carding a 92.
Gardner shot a 44 (+10) on the front nine, highlighted by three pars, including back-to-back pars on holes eight and nine. She added another par on the par-4 fourth. On the back nine, Gardner recorded one final par to finish with a 48 (+12).
Sophomore Kylie Beers was the Knights' second scorer, posting a 115 (+45) to place 45th overall. Beers went out in 59 (+25) before improving on the back nine with a 56 (+20).
Gianni Straughter finished third for Arcadia and 68th overall with a 121 (+51). Straughter carded a 61 (+27) on the front and improved by one stroke on the back with a 60 (+24).
Rounding out the scoring, Cristy Gori placed 69th after shooting a 122 (+52). Gori recorded a 57 (+23) on the front nine, including one of the Knights' few pars, before closing with a 65 (+29) on the back.
York (Pa.) captured the team title with a 321 (+41), edging host Susquehanna by two strokes. Lebanon Valley's Jillian Fidler earned medalist honors with a round of 71 (+1).
