ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The Arcadia University women's golf team competed in the Stockton Tri-Match at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The par-72, 5,604-yard course hosted Arcadia, Stockton, and Kean, with the Knights placing third after carding a team score of 449 (+161). Kean won the event with a 380, while host Stockton finished second with a 431. Senior Taylor Gardner led Arcadia with a fourth-place finish overall.
Gardner shot 92 (+20) to pace the Knights. She opened with a 45 (+9) on the front nine, highlighted by three pars, including two in her first three holes and another on the sixth. On the back nine, Gardner recorded a 47 (+11), picking up one more par on the par-5 14th hole.
Sophomore Kylie Beers finished second for Arcadia, placing ninth overall with a 113 (+41). Beers went out in 57 (+21) before improving by one stroke on the back with a 56 (+20).
Cristy Gori tied for 12th place after shooting 119 (+47), alongside teammate Mairead O'Connell, who competed as an individual. Gori recorded a 56 (+20) on the front nine, with pars on both par threes, and a 67 (+27) on the back.
Sophomore Gianni Straughter rounded out the Knights' scoring lineup, finishing 15th overall with a 125 (+53). Straughter posted a 59 (+23) on the front and a 66 (+30) on the back.
Kelsey Danko carded a 136 (+64), which did not contribute to the team score. She recorded a 66 on the front nine and a 70 on the back.
O'Connell, competing as an individual, matched Gori with a 119 (+47) to tie for 12th. She shot 60 (+24) on the front before improving with a 59 (+23) on the back.
Kean's team score of 380 (+92) secured the match win, while Stockton's Elenora Byrne earned medalist honors with a round of 83 (+11).
