EASTON, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's golf team returned to competition Tuesday at the Northampton Cup, hosted at Northampton Country Club. The par-72, 5,511-yard course challenged the field as the Knights placed 10th in the 10-team event with a score of 453 (+165). Senior Taylor Gardner, fresh off being named MAC Golfer of the Week earlier in the day, led the Knights with a top-15 finish.

Gardner tied for 13th overall with a round of 94 (+22). She shot a 43 on the front nine, highlighted by a birdie on the par-3 fourth hole and a par on the eighth. On the back, she recorded a 51, picking up three more pars, including one to open the side.

Sophomore Kylie Beers was the Knights' second finisher, tying for 25th place with a 114 (+42). Beers carded matching 57s on the front and back, with her lone par coming on the par-5 15th hole.

Cristy Gori placed 28th overall with a 121 (+49), recording a 61 on the front nine before improving by one stroke with a 60 on the back.

Mairead O'Connell rounded out Arcadia's scoring four, finishing 32nd overall with a 124 (+52). O'Connell shot a 64 (+28) on the front nine before lowering her score to 60 (+24) on the back.

Sophomore Gianni Straughter carded a 130 (+58) to tie for 34th place. Straughter shot a 62 on the front before closing with a 68 on the back. Her score did not contribute to the team total.

Susquehanna took home the team title and medalist honors.  The River Hawks shot +40 328.
