LEBANON, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's golf team wrapped up the 2026 MAC Freedom Championship on Sunday at Iron Valley Golf Club, moving up one spot to finish second in the eight-team field. The Knights were led by a strong final round from Frankie Sass, while Hayden Williamson earned All-MAC Freedom Second Team honors with a top-10 finish. Iron Valley is a par 72 course playing 6,658 yards.
Williamson paced Arcadia over the two-day event, finishing 10th overall with a 163 (+19).
HOW IT HAPPENED
Frankie Sass carded an 81 (+9) in the second round, shooting 39 (+3) on the front nine with six pars. He followed with a 42 (+6) on the back, adding five more pars. Sass finished tied for 11th overall with a two-day total of 164 (83–81).
Williamson earned All-MAC Freedom Second Team recognition after posting an 82 (+10) in round two. He shot 44 (+8) on the front with three pars before turning in an impressive 38 (+2) on the back, highlighted by two birdies on two of his final three holes. He finished with rounds of 81–82.
Nicky Antonelli also shot an 82 (+10) in the second round, recording matching 41s (+5) on both the front and back. He totaled 10 pars and added a birdie on the par-5 seventh hole, including a stretch of five consecutive pars on the back nine. Antonelli finished 14th overall with a 166 (84–82).
Justin Madden rounded out the team scoring with an 87 (+15), improving by 10 strokes from his opening round. Madden shot 46 (+10) on the front and 41 (+5) on the back, where he recorded six pars. He finished tied for 33rd with a 184 (97–87).
Tony Antonelli posted an 89 (+17) in the second round, but his score did not factor into the team total. He shot 44 (+8) on the front and 45 (+9) on the back, finishing tied for 20th overall with a 171 (82–89).
Stevens Institute secured the team title with a two-day total of 599 (+23) after shooting 302 in the final round. Arcadia finished second with a 662, moving ahead of Lebanon Valley (665, +89). DeSales (675) placed fourth, while Delaware Valley and King's tied for fifth at 694. FDU-Florham (704) and Misericordia (705) rounded out the standings.
Stevens' Jack Harris earned medalist honors with a two-day total of 140 (−4), finishing four strokes ahead of the field.
