Four Knights Earn MAC Freedom Player of the Week Honors

NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) released its latest Players of the Week honors, with four Arcadia University student-athletes recognized for their outstanding performances. Colin Brockman of the men's lacrosse team was named MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week, while Jaylee Killgore of women's lacrosse earned MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week honors. Aaron Allen was selected as MAC Freedom Player of the Week for men's tennis, and Savannah Falk received the same honor for women's tennis.

Brockman, a sophomore from North Brunswick, New Jersey, dominated at the faceoff X in Arcadia's 20-7 conference-opening win over Delaware Valley. He won 14 of 15 faceoffs, collected eight ground balls, and added a goal. Brockman currently leads the conference in total ground balls (75) and averages 6.82 per game. He has won 127 of 175 faceoffs (.726), which also leads the conference, and is tied for eighth nationally in faceoff win percentage. This marks the second time this season Brockman has earned MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Killgore, a sophomore from Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, earned Offensive Player of the Week honors after a dominant performance in Arcadia's 18-3 conference-opening victory over Delaware Valley. She recorded nine goals and two assists, setting a new program record for goals in a single game after previously tying the mark earlier this season. Killgore leads the Knights with 45 goals and 60 points. Her 45 goals rank first in the conference (4.09 per game), while her 60 points also lead the MAC Freedom. She ranks second in the conference with 5.45 points per game. Killgore also added two ground balls and a caused turnover in the win. This is the first time she has received MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Allen, a junior from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was named MAC Freedom Player of the Week for men's tennis after helping the Knights to a 2-0 record. He went a combined 4-0 at first doubles and second singles. In a 7-0 conference sweep of Eastern, Allen teamed with Bernardo Figueiredo to win first doubles, 6-4, before earning a straight-sets victory at second singles, 6-0, 6-0, over Jeffrey Day. In a 5-2 win over Rowan College of Gloucester County, Allen paired with Kevin McHale for a 6-3 victory at first doubles and secured another straight-sets win at second singles, defeating Lucius Davis, 6-0, 6-2. This is the second time Allen has earned Player of the Week honors.

Falk, a senior from Bridgeton, New Jersey, helped lead the Knights to a pair of 4-3 victories, competing at first singles and first doubles. In a win over Eastern, Falk teamed with Jada Young for a 6-2 doubles victory and followed with a 6-1, 6-2 win at first singles over Anisah Smith. On Senior Day, she partnered with Leah Hatcher for a 6-1 doubles win before earning a 6-1, 6-2 singles victory over Emily Hamilton.
