GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University Department of Athletics and Recreation has announced the addition of Sam Maiorino to the sport performance staff as an athletic trainer.
Maiorino comes to Glenside after spending the last three years as an associate athletic trainer at Division III Cabrini University where she worked primarily with the men's soccer, women's basketball, and women's lacrosse programs. Prior to her time in Radnor, Maiorino spent a year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with Edinboro University, assisting with the women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball, and softball teams.
Maiorino has her athletic training certification and is a licensed athletic trainer with the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine. She has also been a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) since 2015.
Maiorino earned her bachelor's degree in health science and athletic training from Lock Haven in 2016 before earning her masters in exercise science and health promotion from California University of Pennsylvania in July 2017.
