GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Knights' Hearthstone program took on fifth-ranked UCLA in a battle of 1-1 teams to stay alive in the Blizzard Collegiate Hearthstone Varsity Invitational. Arcadia dropped their week one match No. 4 Northeastern and took a reverse sweep against Washington State, while UCLA's lone loss was to No. 2 RIT.
Game 1: Things looked rough for the Knights in game one as the Bruins jumped out to an early start on their token druid and defeated the Knights burn shaman in just four turns.
Game 2: The Knights brought pure aggression to game two and were rewarded for their effort when they took our the watch post rogue with their burn shaman.
Game 3: The momentum and aggression were with the Knights in game three as they took the win with the weapon rogue over the watch post rogue of UCLA.
Game 4: The Secret Libram paladin of the Knights did not let them down in game three as they secured exact lethal to secure the series victory, pulling off the upset over No. 5 UCLA.
