NEWTOWN, Pa. - Arcadia University women's soccer senior Abby Fuchs was named Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Defensive player of the week and men's swimming junior Matthew Drake was named Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Swimmer of the Week, as announced the conference office on Tuesday morning.

Fuchs recorded two shutouts in a perfect 2-0 week that secured Arcadia's postseason berth. She made five total saves across wins over FDU-Florham and King's, finishing the regular season with nine shutouts and a .831 save percentage.

Drake earned three individual victories and a relay win in a dual meet against Messiah, sweeping the 50 backstroke (25.23), 50 freestyle (22.66), and 100 freestyle (49.80), while also leading off the winning 200 free relay.
