Arcadia University Athletic Hall of Fame
A four-year member of the Arcadia baseball program, Loomis led the Knights to their first Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship and NCAA Division III Tournament appearance in 2004 - a regional that featured two top-five teams in the nation at the time in Rowan (No. 5) and Johns Hopkins (No. 1). Loomis was a three-time All-PAC honoree (2003-05) and was twice named an ABCA All-Region selection following his junior and senior seasons.
Following the Knights' conference title run in 2004, Loomis was named to the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional All-Tournament Team as Arcadia finished the year ranked 26th in the nation. After receiving his third-consecutive All-PAC selection in 2005, Loomis was named Arcadia's Male Senior Athlete of the Year. Loomis was also named to the PAC/CSAC Baseball 25th Anniversary Team in 2018.
Loomis has taught at Pinelands Regional High School in Tuckerton, N.J. since 2005, where he is currently the head baseball coach and assistant basketball and football coach. He has served on the baseball and basketball coaching staffs since his arrival in 2005.
Loomis graduated with a bachelor's degree in history in 2005 and completed his masters in educational leadership from the University of Scranton in 2013.
