A four-year member of the women's volleyball team, Yapsuga was named First Team All-Conference all four years of her career. In 1998, she ended the season ranked 16th in the country in Division III with a hitting percentage of .389.
 
Yapsuga is in the top 10 in nearly every category in program history, including 1st in total blocks (490), block solos (401), and points (1,297.5), 5th in kills (738) and block assists (89), 6th in hitting percent (.307), 7th in aces (114), and 8th in digs (669). She received multiple PAC Player of the Week honors during the course of her career, leading her team to the PAC Tournament in both her sophomore (1997) and senior (1999) seasons. This past summer, Yapsuga was recognized as a member of the CSAC 25th Anniversary team, which recognized the top athletes in each sport who have played in the PAC and CSAC.
 
Yapsuga graduated from Beaver College in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in Biology, later returning to obtain her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia in 2003. While working to her DPT, she served as a volunteer assistant coach on the women's volleyball team for two years.
 
Yapsuga and her husband Todd Reinert have three children: Braylon (9), Cayden (7), and Sienna (6). She is a physical therapist and, in her spare time, serves as her son's cub scout leader and committee chair, as well as a youth basketball coach. Yapsuga also served as a volleyball coach in multiple platforms, including at the high school level (2003-08), and as a volunteer for x-court girls (2004-05).
