Over the course of his four-year career as a member of the men's basketball team, Bishop etched his name into the records books as one of 10 players to score 1,000 points in a career. Currently, he sits third all-time for points with 1,247 and first in points per game with 16.4. An all-around player, Bishop holds rebounding records of 742 and 9.8 per game. Bishop also sits 5th all-time in field goals made (372), 3rd in free throws made (218), and 7th in blocked shots (52).
 
At Arcadia, Bishop was named First Team All-Conference (1993-94), Second Team All-Conference (1995-96) and All-Conference Honorable Mention (1994-95). During his junior year (94-95), the team ranked sixth in the nation. Culminating his career in 1996, he was named a Sam Cozen Small College All Star and the Beaver College Senior Athlete of the Year. Bishop graduated from Beaver College with bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1996. He and his wife Jennifer have three children: Kelsey (10), Andrew (25), and Kristopher (27).
